  4. 單 拍 子 每小節有兩個或三個單位拍的拍子叫做單拍子 (simple time) 單二拍子 每小節有一強拍和一弱拍，共兩拍

  6. 單四拍子 用兩個單二拍子合成序列，第一個重音較第二個的重音強 每一小節有四拍（強拍、弱拍、次強拍、弱拍）

  7. 半 音 Semi-tone 半音 – 是兩音間最短的距離，也是鍵盤上最接近的 兩個鍵的距離（指使用十二平均律）。 全 音 Whole tone 全音由兩個半音組成。 半音 ＋ 半音 ＝ 全音

  8. 十 二 平 均 音 律 2 4 7 9 11 1 3 5 6 8 10 12 將八度分成十二個均等的部份（半音）的音律叫做十二平均音律。

  10. 大調音階 (Major Scale) 由八個音順序組成，首尾兩音音名 (Letter Name) 相同，相差八度 (Octave)，稱為主音 (tonic)，音階以此命名。 例　C D E F G A B C 主音 大 調 音 階 (Major scale)

  11. C大調音階 　　 C Major Scale 在大調音階的基本音級中間，除了第三級到第四級，第七級到第八級是半音 (Semi-tone) 外，其餘相鄰兩音間的距離都是全音 (Whole Tone)。

  12. 升號 – 把樂音升高半音 降號 – 把樂音降低半音

  13. 等 音（同音異名） 音高相同而記法不同的音，叫做等音（同音異名）。 升 C 音 (C sharp) 和降 D音 (D flat) 都是彈奏同一琴鍵，兩音稱為等音 。

  14. 在同一小節內，升號 (sharp) 出現後，相同的音如不用升高，必需加一還原號 (natural) ，否則當做升高半音處理。

  15. G大 調 音 階 (G Major Scale) 以 G 音為主音 (tonic) 的大調音階稱為 G 大調音階 (G major scale)

  16. D 大 調 音 階 (D Major Scale) 以 D 音為主音 (tonic) 的大調音階稱為 D 大調音階 (D major scale)

  17. F 大 調音階 (F Major Scale) 以 F 音為主音 (tonic) 的大調音階稱為 F 大調音階 (F major scale) F 大調音階 的調號是一個降號。

  18. 降B大調音階 (B Flat Major Scale) 以 降B音為主音 (tonic) 的大調音階稱為降B 大調音階 (B flat major scale) 降 B 大調音階 (B flat major scale) 的調號是兩個降號。
