  2. This research project will consider and find whether internet and social media influences on US politics positively or not. This research will reckon experiences and cases in US politics in recent years to diagnose both upsides and downsides. Given research will use US in according to show how internet and social media impacts on authorities of politicians and results of elections. Introduction

  3. US is a great example of social media and internet influence cause of a huge amount of active internet users and well-developed mass media and technology. Following to this, majority of politicians are wide discussed in internet and media, whether it well or destructively affect on their reputation. For Instance, Al Gor and Barack Obama

  4. According to this table, we can claim that authority of internet among people that use it to know more about politics is growing up, especially among the young. This fact prove a noticeable impact of internet on political views of people.

  5. The main benefits of using internet is having an opportunity to know everything you want, also you can freely share your opinion, thoughts and your own point of view. According to the activities, that are done with purpose of attracting voters and possibly, mislead people, you should escape such occasions. That’s way there are a plenty of sites, that helps voters to make a right choice and have a real image of political scene and participants. For instance, on congress.org you can find almost all information about everyone in government. There you can find informative data, from his birth and career to his current happenings and the last speeches.

  6. One of the most famous areas, where internet and media is affecting a lot is elections. It’s clear that nowadays that majority of candidates use internet and media to promote themselves and increase an amount of voters. For example, In 2004’s elections, 80% of people between the age of 18-34 who contributed to Mr.Kerry’s campaign, voted for them online.

  7. Great example of media effect on politics can be site fancyford.com. It’s created to promote candidature Harold E.Ford during the Democrat Representative. Such kind of site may be an centre of gossips, rumors of scandals that make voters to question about candidate’s reputation and be a core of bullying from candidates’ envies or opponents.

  8. The most efficient and modern way of promoting candidature’s is being an active user of social networks. To be more precise, social networks improve deputy’s authority in eyes of the young. Even Barak Obama became notable Facebook user. The well-known politician among internet users is Ron Paul, who had 12000 “friends” on his MySpace profile in the yearly 2007.

  9. As far as I’m concerned, Internet and mass media equally has positive and negative influences on US politics. Because internet gives a chance to know more about politics, filter information and get a real image. Despite, often people are misleaded by attracting blogs, sites and promotions.

  10. To sum up, Internet and mass media is spreading around the world (especially US) with incredible speed and influences on everything, including politics in US. My essay helped to clear up my thoughts about given issue. Conclusion
