  1. Interesting Facts:St Andrews Day 30 November 2015 St Andrew was one of Jesus’ twelve disciples. Some of his bones are said to have been brought to Fife, during the 4th Century, to what is now known as St Andrews. The x-shaped saltire cross where St Andrew was supposedly crucified is used on the Scotland flag. Scotland Facts Capital City – Edinburgh (Edinburgh was the first city with a fire brigade and it is built on 7 hills, like Rome) Population of Scotland – Just over 5 million Highest Point – Ben Nevis Longest River – Tay Largest Loch - Lomond

  4. Eco Club Good morning everyone – every year the Eco Club work through a review based on all the Eco Topics not just Litter, Transport and Energy. We then collect this information and present it as our Environmental Review poster. We did this review again in our last meeting and looked at last year’s and have created a new one. We will be putting the new one, which is on green paper, next to the old one all around the school so you can see the changes we made. The Eco Club will be meeting next Thursday at 11:15 in GP3. We will be working on our new Eco Action Targets. Thank you for listening.

Buddy Bear will be in with 2M this month as they were the winners of the School Uniform Challenge The winners of the “Walking to School” Challenge were 3E The Christmas Tree will be going up this week and the decoration theme is to be gold The deadline for the Handwriting Competition is Friday 4th December
