I had an incredible summer in Kansas City and met some of my favorite people in the world there. I can't wait to go back. American Heartland at its finest.<br><br>My whole dad's side of the family is from St. Louis so it almost feels like a second home. We used to visit every year for Christmas, when I was growing up in Florida.   1. Posters for Room Decoration | Bedroom Wall Art Poster Decor - Kansas City I had an incredible summer in Kansas City and met some of my favorite people in the world there. I can't wait to go back. American Heartland at its finest. My whole dad's side of the family is from St. Louis so it almost feels like a second home. We used to visit every year for Christmas, when I was growing up in Florida. So my first sled rides, snowball fights, snowmen, etc were all in and around the city of St. Louis! It's a special place for me to this day, so a few years ago when I made the cross country trip from NYC to LA, I stopped by St. Louis for the night and went shooting with a good friend until dawn! St Louis Arch Blue It's where my dad is from and once or twice a year, at Christmas and/or summer break my dad and I would visit for family reunions when I was growing up. It's one of my favorite places and I have a lifetime of amazing memories here, so I was really excited to get to shoot the skyline and the arch I'd first been up at 3 or 4 years old!

  2. Kansas City Skyline Union Station I shot this from the WWI memorial, over the wall just after sunset. It's one of my favorite skylines I've ever taken, because it brings back such great memories. The beautiful Union Station has a fantastic restaurant too, and I had some of the best steak I've ever tasted in my life there, right around the time I took this picture. so I love that it's front and center in this skyline! St Louis Arch from the Illinois River I was on a cross country solo road trip from NYC to LA. It took me a total of 5 days, as I stopped off in St Louis and saw some friends and family while I was there. A friend of mine and I went out to dinner and then were up until dawn shooting! We took some of the more regular pictures of the arch from across the Mississippi, in East St Louis.

  3. My friend had seen an old picture in a gift shop some years ago of the Arch in between two pillars and we went on a mission to find that same spot. While on the Illinois side of the river, the pillars were much smaller than the arch and the photos looked silly. It wasn't until we jumped a few fences near the old industrial dock yard, and I waded into the river that I found that perfect angle where the arch was the same as the pillars, and at around 4am... I finally got that shot she had in mind!
