PURPOSE - B.2.5 Task - Upgrade of telecommunication and information technology system and development of Client Service System • Upgrade of telecommunication and information technology system at National Hydro-Meteorological Services • Development of Client Service System Emergency Flood Recovery Project - Poland, Loan No 4264 POL

SCOPE - B.2.5 Task - Upgrade of telecommunication and information technology system and development of Client Service System. • Upgrade and implementation of local and wide area networks. • Implementation of LAN/WAN monitoring and control systems. • Installation of digital exchanges in Regional Branch Offices and IMGW’s Headguartes. • Increase the capacity of IMGW backbone network channels. • Provide backup links for IMGW’s backbone network. • Connect OKI in Cracow and Wroclaw to WAN Emergency Flood Recovery Project - Poland, Loan No 4264 POL

  4. SCOPE - B.2.5 Task - Upgrade of telecommunication and information technology system and development of Client Service System. Client Service System: - Data collection module (ftp, e-mail, lfs), - Data storage module (Oracle database), - Data and products distribution module (e-mail, ftp, fax, sms), - Data and products presentation module by means of www browser (presentation of text and graphical data with animation function).
