  1. Morningside Elementary April Newsletter TESTING! In April we will begin SBAC testing (grades 3, 4, and 5). The scores on these tests are reported to the state for student progress and achievement. Our students and teachers have worked very hard to prepare for these tests and we look forward to seeing the awesome work the students can do!! To help your child do his/her best on the tests, please help your child to get enough sleep prior to the test as well as to eat a good breakfast before school. These items really help students when they are trying to demonstrate their very best. Greetings from Morningside Elementary, A huge thank you to everyone who helped the Twin Falls School District pass the recent bond! We are so thankful for the support you all show to our kids and our schools. An extra big thank you goes to everyone who helped with phone calls, meetings, and spreading the word. We couldn’t have done it without you! Thanks to everyone who helped with and participated in both Pancakes for Parents as well as Math Night. Thanks also to Chobani for providing the snacks at Math Night. Both events were a great success. Great job to everyone at Morningside who participated in the Science Fair. All of your hard work with Box Tops raised $1002.50 for our school. Keep saving those Box Tops and thanks to JenniGeilman for all of the work organizing them. Lots of great things to be planning for in MAY: Spring Carnival on May 9th Kindergarten Registration May 4-9 Kindergarten Open House May 8 Teacher Appreciation Week May 4-9 Be on the lookout for more information regarding all of these events.
