  1. Off-Season Waterpark Maintenance Checklist

  2. 1.Winterize Your Park As a waterslide manufacturer, one of the most common causes of damage to existing parks is improper winterization. To fully winterize your waterpark, you must: Drain any pools of water, To avoid leaks, turn off the water leading to the attractions. Make sure there's no water left in your pipes or hoses. Wrap pipes and hoses to protect them from the elements throughout the winter. Seats, rafts, and other items should be covered to protect them from winter storms.

  3. 2.Read out your operating • manuals properly This may appear mundane, but as a waterslide maker, we believe it is critical! Every ride requires different maintenance, so double-check your operating manuals, service guides, and other documents to make sure you're not missing anything.

  4. 3.Carry out safety checks You should conduct safety tests throughout the season and again before the start of the season. However, doing rigorous and thorough safety testing at the end of the summer helps you to address any remaining safety concerns sooner rather than later, rather than waiting a week before reopening.

  5. 4.Spraying the Fibreglass The UV rays from the blazing summer sun can harm your fibreglass slides as well as burn unwary guests. UV radiation can cause microscopic failures in your fibreglass slides, causing riders to be uncomfortable. Waxing your fibreglass slides at the end (and beginning) of the summer can assist to prevent this and maintain your waterslides smooth and fast.

  6. 5.Hire a professionals We're a waterslide maker, and you're a waterpark owner, therefore it's critical that we remember our strengths and delegate the tasks we don't know how to do. Cleaning, both the rides and the park itself, is an area where we frequently require assistance. Hiring a professional cleaning crew to undertake a deep clean on your rides and park at the end of the season will ensure that the task is done correctly and will relieve you of the burden.

  7. 6.Get your orders in early You should place your orders as soon as possible if you need to replace any parts on your rides. Make a detailed list of any necessary repairs or replacements you'll be doing during the off-season and place your purchase as soon as possible. This is always important, but it is especially essential one year due to worldwide supply chain limitations that this waterslide company and many others are experiencing.

  8. 7.Take a look back at your • previous season Take some time to reflect on the previous season. Identify your park's accomplishments, problems, places for improvement, and necessary modifications with your team. Once you've gathered your data, analyse it to see what you need to modify or fix in order to have a stronger season next year.
