  3. Creative Director -- Maria Grazia Chiuri Maria Grazia Chiuri expresses, "I want to display the collective results from a new perspective. Departure and isolation in reality allow us to think about life from a new angle and gain powerful energy from it." video

  4. Handcrafted Textiles This season its collaboration with LE COSTANTINE becomes more important. This foundation aims to support local women in various ways, bear the responsibility of safeguarding textile traditions, and carry forward and develop traditional skills, which conforms to one of Christian Dior's core values. Ancient handicrafts work with avant- garde crafts and superior fabrics of LE COSTANTINE to create premium products.

  5. Weaving Process

  6. Weaving Process Local linen weaving process is key in this season. Elevated linen is combined with tassels and local prints, quite recognizable. The pinafore-style dress and tasseled dress are paired with shirts or woven knitwear. Headscarf and flat boots complete these comfy and relaxing looks.

  7. Garden Dresses Exquisite 3D embroidered roses are like finely made works of art. Vigorous natural scenery is displayed on the light sheer dress, delivering a pastoral feeling.

  8. Lightweight Sets This season sets get lighter and more convenient and use fresh colors, ideal for various occasions. Fine fabrics from Puglia's manual workshops and two-tone designs are employed.

  9. Floral Patterns In the new season Maria Grazia Chiuri is inspired by common natural plants in Puglia. Vivid flowers decorate the hemline, and dragonfly or butterfly enlivens this gorgeous natural scenery.

  10. Necessary Corset & White Shirts In Pre-Fall 2021 series, Maria Grazia Chiuri uses the wide artificial leather corset to accentuate female form, quite retro. This season continues the use of corset and headscarf and favors the white shirt. Almost all tops are styled with a white shirt.

  11. Season Contrast of Ready-to-Wear

  12. Season Contrast of Ready-to-Wear Comparison shows Resort 2021 ready-to-wear is more practical and uses fresher colors, revealing elegance in simplicity. The Resort 2021 collection continues tie-dye in S/S 2020 and displays more versatile patterns. Dresses reduce the hem volume and become more wearable and neater.
