ADRION first call for proposals – Partnership size Up to 10 partners More partners possible if duly justified Reflects the content, the type of activity and the required skills necessary for the project implementation and its success Partnership size More partners, more funds and time necessary for coordination Avoid “cosmetic” partners Manageable!

ADRION first call for proposals – Quality of the partnership • Competence in implementing outputs and reaching results; • Specific skills functional to the project implementation (e.g.: transfer of experience, expertise etc.); • Interest in the topic also after the project closure (activities continuation). ADRION first call for proposals – Quality of the partnership • It must compulsorily comply with the following three ways of cooperation: development, implementation and financing; • Horizontal distribution of project activities and responsibilities (and financial allocation); • No mirror activities (unless no alternative solutions can be identified). ADRION first call for proposals – Quality of the partnership • Partners play an institutional role in the selected topic and can contribute to the desired change; • Decisions makers must be either included or be effectively reached by the partnership; • Partners must ensure a continuation of the activities at national/local level after the end of the project. ADRION first call for proposals – Partners experience and capacity Thematic skills Geographical location • Managerial and coordination skills (for the lead applicant); • Financial capacity to start the activities and to face potential delays in reimbursement (pre-financing foreseen for IPA partners only); • Ability in working in English (programme language).
