Starks Construction is a Los Angeles masonry company and is truly a family business to me as I am a 3rd generation brick mason. My grandfather was born in 1900 and started laying bricks in the streets of Philadelphia for a penny a brick during the great Depression. He then started his own masonry company. My father learned the masonry trade from his father and then went on to work on many residential and commercial masonry projects in both Toledo, Ohio and Los Angeles, CA.
