  4. War on Terror Precursor to 9/11 Began in 1990’s Initiated by Bush to end state support of terrorism End materialistic support for terrorism

September 11th, 2001 Osama bin Laden/ Al Qaeda’s anger at U.S Attacks against U.S from 1990-2000 September 11th, 2001 4 planes are hijacked 2 planes crash into the World Trade Center, 1 plane crashes into the Pentagon Flight 93 crashes after passengers attempted to retake the plane. Resulted in over 3,000 innocent civilians and rescue workers losing their lives Ended Bush’s “Compassionate Conservative” ideals
