  1. NIMS University Jaipur: Ph.D. Bioinformatics Course Fees, Eligibility, Placement Ph.D. in Bioinformatics is a semester-based bioinformatics doctorate program. The course could last up to three years. This course provides students with research possibilities in the fields of computational biology and bioinformatics. Students will be required to submit research papers on various themes connected to Bioinformatics at the end of the semester. Bioinformatics is concerned with the proper storage of biological data in order for it to be retrieved as needed. Nucleic acids, protein sequences, genetic information, and other types of data fall into this category. Bioinformatics is a branch of study that combines mathematics, computer science, statistics, and engineering in order to comprehend biological data. In biomedical research, the topic is extremely important. The course will teach students about various biological data and how to organize it in a methodical manner. Eligibility Criteria for Ph.D. Bioinformatics A Master's degree or a professional degree that has been declared equivalent to a Master's degree by the competent statutory regulatory authority, with at least 55 percent aggregate marks or a grade of 'B' on the UGC's 7-point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed), SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-abled and other candidates may be given a 5% mark reduction from 55 percent to 50 percent, or an equal grade reduction, as determined by the University Grants Commission from time to time. NIMS does not offer scholarships for the Diploma Paramedical, Nursing, Pharmacy, or Architecture programs. Tuition prices are the sole fees for which scholarships are available. Exam costs are paid on exam day, uniform kits are purchased as needed, and club dues are paid. If their aggregate percentage in qualifying exams meets the criteria outlined in Prof. (Dr.) Balvir Singh Tomar Merit-Based Scholarship, all students who have been offered a scholarship based on the NIMS University Common Scholarship or the NIMS University Common Entrance Examination are eligible for an upgrade.
