  4. MILITARY SPECIFIED FABRICS Military Specified Fabrics or simply called as "Mil Spec" are fabrics that are produced for the military. The term "military" is broadly used for fabrics. These fabrics are also used by Federal Agencies and other industries such as the Parachute and Aero-Space industry. KNOW YOUR FABRICS SERIES

  5. SPECIALIZED TREATMENT The fabrics require the conversion of various cotton fabrics to a military specification. For example, using Vat Dyes, which is a class of dyes mostly used in military fabrics. The Mil Spec fabrics may also receive finishes like water and mildew repellents, flame retardants, UV inhibitors, odor repellents, stain resistance, etc.. KNOW YOUR FABRICS SERIES
