HISTORY • Acquisition • 2008 purchase of 9+ acres for $4,510,145.00 • Florida Community Trust (FCT) provided $2,255,072.50 • Flagler County Environmentally Sensitive Lands Program (ESL) provided $2,255,072.50 • 2011-2012 City Council Goals & Objectives • Listed as a Major Project • Management Plan • FCT Grant required a Management Plan with the following objectives: • Protect natural resources • Restoration of site hydrology • Stabilization of shoreline along the College Waterway • Provide recreational opportunities and urban open space • Provide water access to College Waterway and Long Creek • Provide environmental and historic educational programs

STATUS • Management Plan • Removal of Invasive / Exotic Species (ongoing) • Educational Programs • Design • Florida Inland Navigation District Grant for Design obtained in amount up to $75,000.00. (Design must be complete and permits obtained by 9/1/2012) • Design Team selection process complete and scope and fee negotiated. • Selected Firm: Bellomo Herbert & Company
