  4. Year 11 in to Year 12 • Big difference from KS4 in to KS5 • Importance of organisation • Independent learners

  5. Year 12 into Year 13 • Students study AS levels in year 12 (worth 50% of their total A-level). Formal exams at the end of year 12. • Students need to achieve a minimum of a D grade to be able to carry a subject through to A2 • Students completing vocational courses are usually two year courses and receive a result at the end of year 13.
