  2. CM1Synthesis and reactivity of an organometallic cluster with a bifunctional ligand • NTU School of Physical & Mathematical Sciences • 1 group of 2 Students • Labwork: Week 1 and 2 during the June holidays • Labwork: 3-4 weeks during Nov-Dec • Teacher mentor: Dr Kelvin Tan

CM2Biofouling in Reverse Osmosis in Water Reclamation and Desalination • NTU Singapore Membrane Technology Centre • 1 Student (Male preferred) • Labwork: At least 2 weeks during the June holidays, and 3 weeks during the Nov-Dec holidays • Cannot participate in research competitions (confidential material involved) • Teacher mentors: Mr Li Jiexun / Dr Kelvin Tan

  4. CM3Study of Membrane Fouling in Water Reclamation and Desalination • NTU Singapore Membrane Technology Centre • 1 Student • Labwork: At least 2 weeks during the June holidays, and 3 weeks during the Nov-Dec holidays • Cannot participate in research competitions (confidential material involved) • Teacher mentors: Mr Li Jiexun / Dr Kelvin Tan

  5. CM4Chiral Resolution of Pharmaceutical Drugs • NTU Chemical and Biomedical Engineering • 1 group of 2 Students • Labwork: At least 2 weeks during the June holidays, and 3 weeks during the Nov-Dec holidays • Synthetic and Analytical Chemistry • Teacher mentor: Dr Kelvin Tan

  6. CM5CenTaD - GSK • Area of interest: Waste water treatment • Student-initiated project recommended • 1 group of 3 students • Labwork done at HCI SRC • Teacher Mentor: Mrs Lim-Chen Xintian

  7. CM6CenTaD SCSF • Singapore Chemical Sciences Fair • Up to 5 groups of 3-5 students per group • Proposal submitted to teacher mentors by 6 May (please see SCSF website for project themes) • Labwork to be done at HCI SRC • Teacher mentors: Mr Wee Chorng Shin / Dr Kelvin Tan

  8. CM7CenTaD YDSP • Young Defence Scientist Program • Attachment to DSTA and DSO National Laboratories • Application opens in August (check emb) • Number of Students: Variable (Singaporeans and PRs preferred) • Teacher mentor: Mr Benjamin Chan
