  6. Partnership with Family Inclusion: • Have a parents Information meeting at the beginning of the year. • Ask Parents what is important to them about Youth Ministry • What resources can they share • Communication with parents One Young Person many mentors How are parents involved now?

  7. Endurance & Survival Biblical Leadership Qualities • Faithfulness to God • Obedience to God • Humility • Servant-hearted • ENDURANCE It’s a marathon! Not a sprint!

  9. Connection Required Do not allow increasing ministry to decrease your intimacy, and do not let your service exceed your worship. These cause disconnection. Its not unique for leaders to lead without the right heart connection. Your First Two Years in Youth Ministry by Doug Fields, p.65
