  1. Your Own Website

  2. Importance • Is it important to have your own website? In my opinion, yes. • Why? There needs to be another central location to your business where people can learn about you, the products, read reviews, see success stories, and find motivational, diet, and workout tips.

  3. Team Website Templates • For 6 months we worked with a company in developing a Wordpress theme template that coaches on our team could plug into. • Between professional recommendations and team ideas, we came up with a set-up that we felt would be the easiest to navigate, the most professional looking, and the most effective in building this business. • See www.joshspencerfitness.com for example. • Coaches would purchase the theme and just pay $22/month, which includes hosting, maintenance, training tutorials, and great support from the company.

  4. Team Website Templates • The initial set-up will be already done, and all you have to do is build the content. • You will have your own “Shop” tab, which forwards to your own Beachbody Shop Page. • There is a place to input your Coach ID when first setting up your site. • You will also be able to customize the colors, banners, and logo. • The site to learn more and purchase is www.bodypresssites.com

  5. Wordpress • What is Wordpress? It’s a blogging platform. • Why use Wordpress? Wordpress carries some of the most importance in Google’s eyes, meaning it’s great for Search Engine Optimization (SEO). • I have created a Wordpress SEO PowerPoint presentation to explain more about SEO and how you need to blog.

  6. Blogging • What is blogging? It’s where you create a post to share ideas, reviews, success stories, and tips. • Wordpress Dashboard, Posts, “Add New Post.” • You will start getting a following, and those people will start reading your blog posts every time you create a new one. • It’s important that you blog at least 3-4 times per week.

  7. Blogging Ideas • P90X Review • Turbofire Review • 5 Healthy Eating Tips • How to Stay Motivated • P90X2 Success Story • Body Beast Results • Shakeology Review • Becoming a Beachbody Coach • Importance of Positive Thinking • Importance of Support • Working Out on Vacation • Insanity Asylum Review • Staying Committed on the Weekends • Importance of Proper Form • Top Pre-Workout Supplements • P90X Supplements • Conquering Fears • Brazil Butt Lift Review • Workouts While Traveling • How to Get Beyond a Plateau • How to Deal With Soreness

  8. Customer Reviews • It’s VERY IMPORTANT that you occasionally ask your customers to write reviews for you and post them as blog posts on your site. • Programs, Challenge Groups, equipment, etc. • When people read reviews coming from people other than you, a Beachbody Coach, they are more likely to trust the review because they don’t see it as biased.

  9. Family and Friends • Do your best to get your family and friends involved in the programs and products, and if you do and they get results, talk about it as much as you can to others on Facebook and your website through blog posts. • When people see that the people closest to you, your family and friends, have trusted you enough to start a program or use Shakeology, they will trust your recommendations even more.

  10. Social Media • Your site and all social media sites that you are a part of should be all interconnected to one another. • If you use the team website templates, you will have your main social media icons in the top right hand corner of the main page. • It’s important that you share each new post that you created on your social media sites as well.

  11. Blog Sharing Sites • It’s very simple for you to sign up and share your blogs on different blog sharing sites like www.stumbleupon.com, www.digg.com and www.pinterest.com. • Share your blog on each of these sites THE DAY AFTER you write them. • You need to give your blog time to become indexed by Google before you submit it to different sites.

  12. Comments • From time to time you will get people to comment on your posts. • It’s important that you respond to each of these comments within 24 hours from when they were posted. • Be careful, though, because a lot of the comments that you will receive will be spam. • My rule is if the comment has a link in the user info or in the comment itself, I click “spam” and don’t approve it. • When someone does comment, make sure you ask them if they have made you their coach yet.

  13. Q&A Tab • On your website, you need to make sure that you have a “Q&A” tab. • If you purchased the template through www.bodypresssites.com, it already came pre-installed. • Whenever you get a common question from customers, you want to put that question in your “Q&A” section along with your answer. • This way whenever someone asks you the question again, you can steer them to your site or just copy and paste, saving you time. • Check out my “Q&A” on my site www.joshspencerfitness.com for ideas.
