With the exception of schemes that require institutional sign-off (laureates, centres of excellence etc) each College will have their own timeline • This will be clearly advertised on their webpage • RSD webpage will emphasise that each College deals with a different volume of applications and offers different services so internal deadlines will differ.

  4. 3. RSD will take ownership of the application tools/documents • These will be uploaded onto the RSD webpage into the 'Research Administrators' section. • Colleges can provide a link to these documents or modify and upload them onto their own pages • These will include: • Key Points (for new applicants) • What’s new/changes (for experienced applicants • Eligibility Checklist • Compliance Checklist • Certification Form • Submission Spreadsheet and Checklist • RMS Instructions • Templates for External Investigators – Section C

  7. 8. Email sent to researchers from rms@anu.edu.au once they start an application in RMS • Email will be 'no reply' and an automatic response will be sent from the mailbox to direct researchers to their College • All general ARC updates will be sent from this mailbox • Trial for Future Fellowship 9. List of applications in RMS to be sent to Colleges weekly

  8. 10. Submission to be done by Colleges • People that will be submitting applications will receive approval from Central as done from DP14 (certification is done on behalf of the DVC-R) • RSD will provide each College with a submission spreadsheet containing all applications in RMS from their College one week prior to ARC deadline • This is to be completed and returned to RSD once submission is complete to facilitate the creation of ARIES records (also for audit purposes)

  9. 11. Applications will be entered into ARIES by RSD • No data entry prior to submission to be done by Colleges • Once records have been created, RSD will send a list of ARIES IDs so that Colleges can upload applications and Authority to Apply form
