  1. measurement of the absolute BR(K p+p-p+ ) : status Patrizia de Simone KLOE Kaon meeting – 25 March 2010

  2. BR about 7% lower of the PDG value checks on … tag normalization samples MC Dalitz plots distributions K+ p+p0p0 sample and K+ p+p-p+ sample (to evaluate Data/MC efficiency corrections) Filfo & T3 Filter corrections …

  3. triggering mn or pp0 tag on one side the virtual path of thesignal K is given by the tag K track backward extrapolated to the I.P. in the signal hemisphere we select backward extrapolated tracks that make a vertex with the Kbefore the inner wall of the DC • recovery procedure of the Ke2 selection • no charge requirements on the selected tracks • p (selected tracks) < 200. MeV/c

  4. Data MC cm (MC – Data) cm rvtx distribution compare Data and MCNetv (rvtx < rvtxFV) / Nevt

  5. Data MC cm (MC – Data) cm rvtx distribution compare Data and MCNetv (rvtx < rvtxFV) / Nevt new extrapolation code

  6. New samplenew cuts to select the signal must be studied Maxim • PHOTOSgives 1 or 2 photons • Total number of calculated events : Ntot = 957937 • Ratios : N(K± 3) / Ntot = 2159 / Ntot = (0.22±0.01) % N(K± 3) / Ntot = 5 / Ntot < 0.001 %
