MAJOR BENEFITS • Superior Customer Support • File reorganization time cut • Up to 3/4th time saved on large data files • Nightly batch would start sooner after the reorg • Reorganize more often initially to fine tune file structure • Reorganize large files at mid if necessary with minimal impact on end users • Less record extensions = Faster search = Faster response time. • This holds true for online and batch. • Less CPU usage
