  2. Assessing SLO for Counseling: Noncredit Matric MISSION STATEMENT Our mission is to assist students in navigate the educational system and formulate a roadmap to reach their educational goals. Major Competency 1: Students will be able to navigate the educational system Major Competency 2: Students will be able to formulate their educational goal. 1.1) Student will be able to identify and use at least three services 1.2) Student will be able to use the college course schedule 2.1 Students will be able to identify their educational goal. 2.2 Students will be able to apply their educational goal. Major Competency: A “bundle of skills” or “A combination of skills, ability, and knowledge needed to perform a specific task at a specified criterion” (Jones & Voorhees, 2002).
