  1. Flight! Fight! CONFLICT! Resolution

  2. From last week… Once I have surrendered to the purpose of glorifying God in all I do and have dealt with my own sin, then I am ready to take the next step: • If I have offended someone or am aware of a conflict or issue with them I need to go to them and be reconciled. 2. Sometimes that involves confronting the other person’s sin.

  3. From last week… 3.Before I go, I need to make sure I have completely forgiven the other person. 4.I should go gently, with the goal of restoration. 5.I must speak the truth in love with the goal of restoring, encouraging, and strengthening the other person.

  4. From last week… 6.The proper approach to resolving conflict involves both speaking and listening. 7. Involve other people as necessary to restore the relationship.

  5. Peacemaker Part 4 Once I have surrendered to the purpose of glorifying God in all I do, dealt with my own sin, and approached the other person in love, I am ready for the final step: ____________________. Reconciliation

And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation. (2nd Corinthians 5:17-19) God is our Reconciler!
