TYPES OF SKILLS PERSONAL SKILLS • Skills associated with your personality and attitude • These skills are developed throughout your life • You create an overall impression of who you are for other people • Examples: dependable, reliable, honest, trustworthy, punctual, flexible, enthusiastic, optimistic, disciplined

  4. TYPES OF SKILLS TECHNICAL SKILLS • These skills are specific to one or a few occupations • These skills are performed in a limited number of jobs • Learned on the job or at school • Examples: blueprint reading, computer programming, welding, accounting, passing a football
