Max 4/country? Beech forest (Fagetum) above 800 m Oak forests (Quercetum)(Q. robur) Coniferous (Pinus sylvestris) Locust tree (Robinia pseudoacacia) forests (planted, invasive!) Most important conditions which influence forests • Climate • Soil • Rainfall/year and distribution in seasons • Geomorphology ( flatland, slope, valley…) • Height above see level • Geographic history • Human use/influence in the history of the forest type • Present human uses • ….? • We should give these data (when relevant) for each type

  6. Resources needed for the pathway • 1 or more photo (typical forest scene) or link to a good photo • 1-3 photo of at least the dominant, or more tree species (canopy, leaf, fruit) • photos of forest representation in your exhibition (possibly already in MMAT) • any further representation (video, presentation, etc) which might be used in pathway (possibly already in MMAT) • any activities (game description, activity sheet, etc) which may be added to the use for teachers • ……..? • inquiery based learning method application will be initiated by Tamas Vásárhelyi and improved as joint effort.
