Eligibility Criteria for CUSAT CAT Exam

CUSAT stand for Cochin University of science and technology. It conducted for getting admission in the undergraduate and postgraduate course in various CUSAT affiliated colleges. The SAT exam generally held for the junior or the high school students for doing theirs under graduation in colleges. The CUSAT CAT exam has not set any boundaries for age limit students at all age can give the test. But in most cases, students between ages of 16-17 appear for this exam. The exam has helped many to choose the best colleges in the country based on their CUSAT CAT 2019 exam marks. The review is all about evaluating one’s maths and verbal skills.

  1. Eligibility Criteria for CUSAT CAT Exam CUSAT stand for Cochin University of science and technology. It conducted for getting admission in the undergraduate and postgraduate course in various CUSAT affiliated colleges. The SAT exam generally held for the junior or the high school students for doing theirs under graduation in colleges. The CUSAT CAT exam has not set any boundaries for age limit students at all age can give the test. But in most cases, students between ages of 16-17 appear for this exam. The exam has helped many to choose the best colleges in the country based on their CUSAT CAT 2019 exam marks. The review is all about evaluating one’s maths and verbal skills.

  2. To get the admission in the colleges and also for appearing in exam the students must meet the eligibility criteria. Students who don’t fit into this will be disqualified from the CUSAT CAT 2019 exam. The CUSAT CAT exam generally has taken for five different engineering branches in the country. The eligibility criteria also vary for each department. The instrumentation, polymer, marine, and Naval Architecture engineering fields are especially applicable here. Even after getting qualifies in the exam the student must appear in the entrance test.

  3. Eligibility criteria for Instrumentation Engineering • For the students who wish to do their under graduation in instrumentation engineering, they must have got qualified in the 12th standard board exam conducted the respective board and should have secured 50% aggregate marks minimum. They must pose 50% of marks separately in maths.

  4. Eligibility criteria for Polymer Engineering • The candidate should have secured the pass mark in their 12th standard board exam with maths, physics and chemistry as the primary subjects. They must have held 50% equivalent marks in physics chemistry and maths together. 50% of equivalent marks must be secured in maths separately.

  5. Eligibility criteria for Naval Architecture • The candidate must have passed in their 12th standard exam with the 60% of similar aggregate marks. The candidates should have secured 50% of marks in physics, chemistry and maths together and 50% of marks in maths separately for appearing in CUSAT SAT 2019.

  6. Eligibility criteria for Marine Engineering • The candidate should have secured 60% of pass mark in the 12th standard board exam with 50% in physics chemistry, maths together and 50% of marks in maths separately. For this test alone the candidate must appear for the physical examination and the eye test independently from the medical examiner of DG shipping. • Enrol for the CUSAT SAT 2019 exam if you meet all the eligibility criteria mentioned above.
