Teacher Notes • For each problem: • Display the 1st slide which contains the problem. • Have the students place counters on their desks to match the number of graphics the same number of graphics they see on the screen. • Have them add or subtract by adding or removing counters • Click to the next slide to see the problem “in action” and the matching number sentence. • You may want students to write the number sentence. • Click again to see the answer to the problem.

  3. During a snow storm, children dressed for outside. Two children had on scarves and one had on a ear muffs. How many children were dressed for outside?
