  5. Task: make light waves • The waves should all have the same amplitude( height). • Instead of μm we will use mm. So 400 μm will be 400 mm. • Make the total length of all your waves together the same. About 3 or 4 metres.

  7. Cats vs humans (extension task) • Cats have much better night vision than humans • They can’t see colour though. • This has to do with the amount of rods and cones in their retina. Q) What difference do you imagine there is between the amount of rods and Cones in a cat’s eye versus a human’s eye and why does this affect their night and colour vision?
