  2. Mission To provide the most comprehensive, school health curriculum in the areas of nutrition, physical activity, obesity, and type 2 diabetes prevention for students K-8 in the State of Texas.

  3. Legislation Texas Senate Bills 19 (SB 19, and SB 42) requires school districts to participate in appropriate training for the implementation of an approved coordinated school health program for grades K-8 beginning the 2007/2008 school year.
