An Expansive, Multifaceted Approach “To fight hunger we must inspire and engage the next generation of leaders committed to fighting hunger throughout their lives.” Clay Mathile • Leveragethe internet and social media to attract and engage youth in a relevant way, and become Hunger Fighters™ • Inspire our generation's youth to make hunger their career focus. • Demonstratehow combating hunger fits interests, talents and life-long aspirations • Reinforcehow a diverse talent pool of leaders can tackle all facets of hunger alleviation • Mobilize those currently on the front lines of tackling hunger to serve as mentors • Create pathways for youth exploration on the impact they can have on hunger and be recognized for their commitment. • Motivate and involve community organizations, teachers, parents, media and other leaders who influence youth to get involved with and support this movement. • Educate in ways that engage students and teachers to discover the magnitude and complexity of world hunger.
