  6. Many years ago, there was a king named Odysseus. The smartest man in all of the land. He was called upon to fight a massive war against the Trojans. 10 long years of war, and he was finally heading home. Many days passed, many years few by. Many islands were found, including the God of Wind, Aeolus, who gave them a bag of wind to take them home. But the sailors opened it against Odysseus’s words. Many more days and years and islands. After passing Scylla and Charybdis, they landed on an island with many cattle. Helios’s legendary cattle, which they were not supposed to touch. While Odysseus was away, the men cooked up some of the cattle. Helios and Zeus were enraged, and Zeus brought the cattle to life, and scared the men to the ship. There, Zeus struck them down with a lightning bolt. Odysseus was the only survivor. Many more years and days on the never-ending journey on the ocean… Helios’s Island, Zombie Cows

  7. Dear Diary, I worry so dearly about my husband. 10 years ago he left to fight the Trojans, and he hasn’t returned yet. I believe he is still alive and working to come home to Ithaca and I, but I’m losing some hope. There are so many suitors trying to take his kingdom and get with me, but I’ve been stalling in case his return, but I can’t hold them off for long. Oh Odysseus, be safe. God of Lightning and Life, God of Seas, please keep him safe during is return. Sincerely, Penelope Ithaca
