  1. SUTOUREELM Supporting Tourism Enterprises for Eco-Labelling and Environmental Management

Target „1“ • Versions of the software in four languages including • following classes of tourism enterprises: • - hotels • - restaurants - camping sites - youth hostels • - guesthouses • Explanation and international workshops for dissemination in 5 countries (e.g. Germany, Austria, France, UK, Italy, Greece)

  3. Target „2“ • Validation of at least five hotels according to EMAS • and • approach to a validation of EMAS for at least • 20 companies • Validation for small and medium sized tourist accommodation services • Support and guidance of companies to implement a systematic Environmental Management System • Minimum objective: inspection of the enterprise by an external auditor

Target „3“ Awarding the European eco-flower or a national eco-label for tourism enterprises to at least 50 companies In addition to the EMAS validation the acquisition of an eco-label (e.g. Viabono in Germany, GTBS in UK, Legambiente Turismo in Italy or the European Flower) also accounts for a great dedication in the field of environmental protection

Target „4“ • Web site in four languages and at least 1000 downloads • Active use of the Tools by at least 500 companies in Europe at the end of the project duration, recorded within the scope of a questioning • questionaire for the people who have downloaded the tool (type and amplitude of usage, main usage, suggestions for improvement, how they got to know about it, etc.) • to ensure the use of the software • to get important information for further developments • to have our success documented

  6. Target „5“ Reduction of waste accumulation, energy and water consumption by at least 10 % (average) for the user of the software The questionnaire includes the effective savings the users of the tool have achieved in their enterprises.
