Nonprofit Economic Impact National Utah Generate $8+ billion annually or 6% of Utah’s real GDP Utah nonprofits employed 67,090 people— 6.7% of the state’s workforce in 2012 Over 6,094 active 501c3s in Utah, over 8,800 NPOs total, not including religious organizations and state universities. • Spend over $1.56 trillion per year • Generated $887 billion or 5.5% of the U.S. Gross Domestic Product • Generated $587.6 billion or 9.2% of all wages in the United States in 2010 • There are over 1.09 million public charities in the U.S. and 1.4 million tax exempt organizations. 2017 So UT Community Impact Summit

Southern Utah UNA Committee Started in 2012 with 4 members, has 12 members today that work hard to provide: • 23 of training workshops in 2016, 100 since 2012 • Organize the Community Impact Summit in 2016 • Developed and grew partnerships with DXATC, DSU, St George and Cedar City Chambers of Commerce, Cherry Creek Radio, and many more 2017 So UT Community Impact Summit
