For each piece of artwork, write down all the things you notice. 2. Now based on all the artwork, develop a character sketch of the indigenous people.

Reflection time! • Pair up with another student and compare your notes. • Who do you think created this artwork? • What reoccurring images do you see? • Is there any one piece of artwork different than the others? • Who do you think was seeing this artwork? • What impact or influences would this artwork have on the people who see it? • What do you think was the purpose of this exercise?
