  3. What makes a successful colloquium • Secure a “good” day and time • Location, location, location • Bribe them with food (if necessary) • Use internal and external presenters • Have relevant topics • ALWAYS request feedback

Past Colloquium Topics • Online Communication–Creating that classroom feeling • Successfully using the WebCT Discussion Board and Chat Rooms • Virtual Teams at Stevens • The Howe School - Evolution of a successful online program • Stevens Institute of Technology plagiarism in online courses instructions and discussion • How Technology Integrates Online, On-Campus and International Courses • Using Interwise in the virtual classroom

  10. Momentum….. • Have a schedule so it is expected – (bi-annually worked for Stevens) • Ask your professors to participate – (they love to be subject matter experts) • Build an attendance requirement into your contract • Use the online technology for information dissemination!
