  2. ¿Qué es el paramo? Son ecosistemas de montaña andinos que pertenecen al Dominio Amazónico.

  3. Clima: El clima es de tipo frio muy húmedo, nublado y con altas precipitaciones. Ubicación: Se extiende desde Venezuela hasta el norte del Perú en las alturas andinas por encima de los 3500 m.s.n.m Fauna: Son habitantes de este lugar también el raro tapir lanudo o pinchaque, varias especies de murciélagos, el oso de anteojos o ucumari, el venado del páramo y una pequeña musaraña, el único mamífero insectívoro del Perú, descubierto recientemente por los científicos. Flora: La vegetación predomínate son los pajonales, con arbustos y bosques enanos. La fauna es de tipo amazónico.
