  2. Animal Family • Seahorses are monogamous. • Monogamous means when a seahorse finds a partner. • Then they stay with the same partner.

  3. Habitat • Seahorses live under the sea. • Sometimes seahorses curl their tales around plants and other things. • Some seahorses can be orange and all other kinds of colors but not pink.

  4. Family Life • The female has the eggs. • The male carries the eggs. • When the female seahorse is pregnant the seahorse looks like it’s falling.

  5. Diet • Seahorses eat shrimp. • They also eat plankton. • Sometimes they eat plants.

  6. Predators/Prey • A shark is a predator of seahorses. • It depends on the shark. • Seahorses eat brine shrimp and plankton.
