Work Background Before Urban • Telamerica Media | Business Analyst • Conduct ad hoc research projects requested by management. • Write queries in SQL Server to obtain relevant data to analyze and assist managers in making decisions. • Develop methods of analyzing data sets such as trend analysis of cable subscribers and monthly impression totals. • AKA A lot of excel reporting and Macro coding • My thoughts on working full time and going to school full time … • It’s hard • Prepare to give up your social life for a year or 2 • It feels nice to get paid instead of incurring loans • Get experience at the same time • Regrets????..... • Maybe…

Roles and Responsibilities of a Marketing Researcher • Working with multiple departments on different research projects • Weekly reports • Creating Dashboards for multiple marketing departments • It’s always a different and not mundane • Update and recalibrate existing models • DATA CLEANING/ scrubbing / hygiene
