With the support of internal and external partners and collaborators, institutions can use technology to design and deliver strategic initiatives to foster student success and degree completion.

SUMMARY AND CONCLUSION LESSONS LEARNED – FLORIDA STATE UNIVERSITY Benefits/Insights • Compare our spending results to our peers using a consistent set of analysis factors to normalize the results • Allows us to track progress over time • Promotes an organizational culture built on data-informed decisions, quantifiable goal-setting, and performance measurement • The consortium is collaborative – frequent communication via CAB and Client Services Manager • Provides a confidential and reliable forum to allow for best practices sharing with peers that drives meaningful insights • Multiple platform features have evolved in response to member feedback

SUMMARY AND CONCLUSION LESSONS LEARNED – FLORIDA STATE UNIVERSITY Challenges • Initial mapping of activities and sub-activities was labor-intensive • Use of Key Representatives across campus • Mapping requires current Position Descriptions • Mapping process has significantly improved by using a Mapping Index • Confidence in mapped data takes time to confirm “apples- to-apples” comparisons • After the initial mapping of base year data, a significant amount of Year 2 and subsequent year data can easily be migrated from base year data
