Monroe Community College • Monroe Community College is many things: a place to continue learning and acquire career skills, a foundation for a four-year degree, a center for academic and cultural opportunities, a vital catalyst for workforce development, and so much more. Nationally ranked and recognized as one of the most innovative community colleges in North America, MCC is also one of the best academic values in the country.  It is located in Rochester, NY and enrollment is 37,000. There are more than 50 active Clubs and Organizations and 13 Intercollegiate athletic teams.  MCC has 4 campuses.  The Brighton Campus is located on a 300-acre site just outside the city of Rochester and houses 16 academic, administrative and athletic buildings, residence halls, and a Child Care Center. The Damon City Campus is a 200,000 square foot facility located in downtown Rochester.   The College also encompasses the Applied Technologies Center, and the Public Safety Training Facility. Our Innovators • Amy Greer is the Assistant Director for Housing and Residence Life.  She earned her Masters of Arts in Community Counseling from Rider University.  Amy has served as the co-chair of The Civility Project since 2011 and she assisted with planning and organizing the Enough is Enough Campaign in spring 2012.   Home Institution Innovator Rebecca Herzog is the Program Coordinator for the Office of Student Life and Leadership Development.  She earned her Masters of Science in Recreation and Leisure Studies from The College at Brockport.  She is the Advisor to Campus Activities Board, Student Government and facilitates Leadership Workshops on the Brighton Campus at MCC.  She is the co-chair of The Civility Project and was part of the Enough is Enough Campaign’s conception.  The Enough is Enough Campaign was designed and implemented three years ago and gets bigger and better every year. The Civility Project: Making Courtesy Common - Enough is Enough Campaign The Enough is Enough Campaign at Monroe Community College is a successful collaboration between staff, students, faculty and administrators.  This campaign is making a positive impact on campus culture through a wide variety of programs and activities developed to address violence prevention in the community and on campus.  Some of the topics covered include but are not limited to domestic violence, self-esteem, GLBT awareness, sexual harassment, classroom conduct and bullying.  The campaign addresses programs/workshops for faculty and staff, passive and interactive workshops and programs for the entire campus community and lectures that are open to the public.
