Blake Products History • In 2000, Mike Blake and Ray Blake started Blake Products as an idea based on the knowledge Mike gained during his time working at Pulte Homes within the Warranty Department. He saw that builders collectively spend millions of dollars each year repairing and replacing fixtures and surfaces that are damaged during construction.  He realized that the damage to these tubs, toilets, counter tops, cabinets, doors, floors, windows and other fixtures was preventable.  • Combining the understanding of this need with Ray's package engineering background and the experience he gained with Sealed Air Corporation, they engineered a light-weight and low-cost material called CorHex™ that supports an incredible 1,237 lbf.  They incorporated CorHex™ into a product they began to manufacture called TubWrap™ (patent # 6996860) which began selling well to residential home builders. • Over the past seven years, Blake Products has developed a suite of niche patented and patent pending surface protection products designed to protect every fixture in a home during construction.
