  2. How did the alps curve, and how far did they curve? Formed ? The alps formed a giant mountain that divides the central part of western Europe into northern and southern parts.

  3. How wide? Separation? The separation of the mountains has done much to help shape the nation, its language and its ways of life.

  4. How far does it spread? Fill? The alps fill most of Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Switzerland and the alps

  5. What's it called? • The Austrian and Italian portions of the mountain are mostly called the Tyrol. • how was it created?

  6. Cracked? • Some of the folding of the mountains cracked the earths crust. • What's the highest peak?

  7. Edelweiss!!! • Edelweiss is not only a song from the movie sound of music. The tiny white edelweiss (floral symbol of Switzerland) grows among grasses high in the Alps. • Treeless?

  8. Cracked again!?! • The A.mountains were cracked by Hannibal in the 3rd century ( Hannibal is roams march enemy.) • Formed?

  9. Long Long time ago! • The alps formed about 34 to 23 million years ago when the African tectonic plate bumped into the European tectonic plate. • Temperature?
