  15. Isaiah 52:13- 53:12

  16. Colossian 2:13-15- When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the written code, with it’s regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.

  17. Heb. 2:11,14-16- Both the one who makes men holy (Jesus) and those who are made holy are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers…Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might destroy him who holds the power of death- that is the devil and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.

  18. 1 John 3:16- This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us.1 John 4:10- This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
