  1. Project Expo and ReportECEN 4517/5517 • Expo: • This Thursday, May 1, 9:00 am - noon • Project report • Due Friday May 2 by 3:00 pm, in office of Prof. Erickson or Prof. Maksimovic

  2. Expo schedule • Tuesday afternoon section • Demonstrate projects at 9:00 - 10:30 am • Wednesday and Thursday afternoon sections • Demonstrate projects at 10:30 - 12:00 • If you must also show another project in the ECE Capstone lab: • You may make arrangements by speaking with both course instructors • Location: • If your project is intended to be powered by the PV cart then demonstrate your project in the courtyard outside • If your project is powered by the ac line, then you should demonstrate your project in the lab • In the event of bad weather, all projects will be demonstrated inside

  3. Expectations • Each group should prepare a posterboard to be used in explaining your project to Expo attendees. • This posterboard should include: • Project title and names of all group members, • A high-level statement of the functionality and objectives of the converter system • A block diagram/schematic • Some measured results • Each project will be demonstrated to the course instructors • All members of the group must be present at that time • During this demonstration, those projects that are intended to be powered by the output of another group's project should instead be powered by a bench power supply, so that the performance is not dependent on functionality of another group's project • Upon conclusion of these demonstrations, we will attempt to connect projects together on PV carts outside.

  4. Project report • Format: same as earlier reports • Due Friday May 2, 3:00 pm • in office of either Prof. Erickson or Prof. Maksimovic
