Pea Flower- Clitoria ternatea, also known as Aparajita, Butterfly pea, Asian pigeonwings or Blue pea , is a flowering plant that bears white and blue flowers. It’s a commonly growing creeper in India ( and in some South East Asian countries) in our gardens and in the wild too!! Its been right here all my life and I just noticed, oh well, better late than never! Visit our webpage - http://www.tashasartisanfoods.com/blog/blue-pea-flower-tea/

  1. About Us The thing with good, fresh, preservative-free food is that the taste will always linger on; it provides a memorable experience, one which makes you stop and savour the food and moment. We are talking about TAF’s wholesome bakes, crunchy nutritious granola, divine brownies, hearty breads and more. Truly great food goes beyond the taste - it must be nutritional, healthy and pleasurable. Our flavourful, carefully sourced local ingredients, coupled with organic flour and grains are why TAF’s bakes look, feel, and smell so natural.

  2. Simple Tomato Sauce It’s the simplest things in life that give us pleasure, right? A walk in the park, a nice movie, a good book, a cup of tea….why complicate when we can so easily make ourselves happy? No, don’t worry, I haven’t suddenly achieved a zen- like attitude …though God knows  how much I need it!!  But I do like to use this philosophy whilst in my kitchen. Case in point, this Simple Tomato Sauce!

  3. Paneer Kulcha Kulchas are Indian flatbreads very similar to naan, very popular in North India. One of our favourite street foods is matarkulcha, available at pretty much every corner of the city. It makes for a quick healthy meal that I enjoy making at home…. Well almost as much as these Paneer Kulchas! Its wholesome, delicious and very easy to make.that’s what counts in my book.

  4. Fruity Summer Coolers Summer is beating down upon us, hot and strong! I have pitchers of lassi, iced tea and lemonade  which work really well for the adults at home. But the kid and his little friends are forever tempted by all the artificially coloured vitamin waters, sugary fruit juices. Had to come up with my own brand of soft drinks, colourful and delicious enough, to entice them….. Ergo these FruitySummer Coolers!

  5. Instant Ragi (Fingermillet) Dosa While I do make some of the usual suspects at home ( idli, uthapam, paniyarams, pongaletc), dosa is something I haven’t been able to conquer. With conquer I mean, not even passible. Until thisInstant RagiDosacame into our lives and now its dosa night at least twice a week! My favourite is with any chutney, simple and yummy!  They make a great school / work tiffin too.
