  4. Program Change Alert! Former “2 year” Webelos program is now a “Webelos Year” and an “Arrow of Light “ year. There is no longer a requirement that the Webelos Badge must be earned to complete the Arrow of Light Requirements! Electives may still be earned in either year

  5. Arrow of Light Rank Requirements • Be active in your Webelos den for at least six months since completing the fourth grade (or for at least six months since becoming 10 years old. Be active means having good attendance, paying your den dues, and working on den projects.) • Complete 4 Required Adventures • Choose and complete 3 Elective Adventures • With a parent or guardian, complete the exercises in the pamphlet How to Protect Your Children From Child Abuse: A Parent’s Guide, AND earn the Cyber Chip award for your age.

Arrow of Light Adventures…  Summary: • This year, Arrow of Light, of the Cub Scouting program is to further the boy’s skills and prepare him to become a Boy Scout. • The Arrow of Light requirements prepare a the boy, his family and his leaders for the adventures that await him in the next program group of the Boy Scouts of America and provide a seamless transition. • Sample Arrow of Light Required Adventure: “Scouting Adventure” • Debrief
