  1. This Cabinet reshuffle was large and the timing was appropriate. It happened after 15 months of COVID-19 that harmed India and the Indian people. During this era, many are forced into poverty, many have missed jobs and their purchasing capability. Lockdown saved lives but destroyed the economy. Now, within the next three years, there's a requirement for a strong economy that will grow at 8-9 percent, create huge jobs, improve the income of citizens, boost consumption, and give people hope. This suggests the Narendra Modi government has got to drive the economic program in a very big way. Cabinet Reshuffle India 2021 | How it Will Affect Economy The cabinet reshuffle of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi government happened on Wednesday, July 7. As many as 43 ministers, including current and old, took oath at the Rashtrapati Bhavan that was given by the President of India Ram Nath Kovind. Overall, 36 new ministers have joined the cabinet, 7 former ministers have been promoted and 12 ministers have left. Seven more women members are added to the council of ministers of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, taking the overall female power to 11 which is one of the most important. A BJP leader announced the reshuffle is predicted with Modi addressing political difficulties, including the assembly votes in five states early next year, and governance issues. The prime minister is also scheduled to chair a cabinet conference, hours before the anticipated reshuffle. His analysis of the activities of his ministers, early next year assembly votes in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Goa, Manipur, and Punjab, and the COVID-19 pandemic that has been a part of the internal evaluation of the party's governance and organizational activities are expected to pull heavy in the demanded reshuffle.
