  5. Status of Hardware for production • 17 PLC installed, 3 PLC missing (OK with cryo planning) • 1 Ethernet Starpoint missing • LOCAL PVSS DS based on XP used for commissioning , • Linux PVSS DS ready (migration foreseen this summer) • All PLC systems & components declared in ABCAM.

  6. Hardware Architecture QRL Central Cobtrol room Dedicated OWS/DS Local Cryogenic control room comms. EWS QuantumPCUs ACR responsibility S7-400 Siemens PROFIBUS DP networks (2) WFIP Networks (4) PROFIBUS PA networks ET200 I/O for QV & sensors ET200 I/O temperature sensors QRL test setup

  7. Status of Hardware for QRL • FIP network installed and tested • Profibus Fiber and Coupler installed but not connected in SHC8 • Profibus coupler for tunnel supplied to ACR • Process control PLC installed • Ethernet installed & IP available in SHR8 & SHC8 • DS for PVSS to be provided by ACR • GW siemens to provided by ACR • Profibus slave installation (see PG presentation)

  9. Status of Hardware for Sector • FIP network installed and tested • Profibus Fiber and Coupler installed but not connected in SHC8 • Profibus coupler for tunnel supplied to ACR • Process control PLC installed or ready to be installed • Ethernet installed & IP available in SHR8 & SHC8 • DS for PVSS to be provided (CO) • GW siemens to provided (CO) • Profibus WFIP slave installation (ACR) • Reconnection WFIP after QRL test (ACR) • Installation of repeaters & tests FIP after reconnection (CO) • GW FIP to be installed in July/August by CO • PVSS servers ready

  10. Hardware PB encountered (not only at P8) • ACR slipping planning • Difficulty to obtain installation of Network • Coordination PB between IT-CS And TS-EL and Fiber installation we often have to put people in contact and to follow the Installation process • IT-IS planning seems established only under pressure • TS –EL Organization : One responsible per site you have to re-explain 5 times the same thing. • Cabling to GW racks (uses of fan holes to insert cables) • Double check for FIP networks (only for IP8) • ABCAM interface not finished
