BUILT-IN CALCULATOR • Revit has a built-in calculator that you can use at any time while entering distances or parameters. • Preface the distance or parameter you are entering with an equal sign (=), and then enter the formula. • You can use any standard arithmetic formula. QUICK HATCH INSERTION • DRAW THE HATCH PATTERN YOU WANT IN REVIT USING AN AUTOCAD HATCH. • IMPORT THE AUTOCAD FILE INTO A REVIT DRAFTING VIEW. • DO A PARTIAL EXPLODE ON THE AUTOCAD HATCH. • SELECT THE REVIT FILLED REGION – ITS TYPE PROPERTIES ARE NOW IN THE PROJECT AS A MODEL HATCH. • RENAME THE HATCH.
