OPEN FORUM – PLENARY DISCUSSION – continuation • work plan – continuation of discussion and adoption • performance of activities in 2005: establishment of sub-groups for projects, agreement on a way of their performance and setting-up milestones for the first preliminary draft results, verification, follow-up till September 2005 • name of the ExG – Cadastre ExG? Cadastre and Land Registry ExG? Real Estate Registration ExG?

AGREED WORK PLAN (1) 1) Development of a cadastreand land registry information resource for the purpose of benchmarking (monitoring indicators, business processes) 2) Visions (challenges, trendsfor a way ahead) forcadastres and land registries 3) Role of the cadastral parcel in INSPIRE and national SDIs (including LIS) with impacts on cadastral and land registry operations

  4. cont (2) 4)Role of cadastres in support of IACS and advise on best practicies – decision postponed after Budapest ------------- 5) A platform for information exchange and sinhronization with key cadastral and land registry players in Europe (EULIS, WPLA, FIG, PCC ...) 6) Terminology list – Paul + other volunteers 7) Follow-up with the EG management

NEXT STEPS & ADMINISTRATIVE ARRANGEMENTS • identification of project management teams (1: Pekka, Margret, Edvins + ; 2: Peter, Saulius, Helge, Ignacio + 3: Roger/Francis K, Francis G, Wilhelm + ) • call for nominations for 3 projects, start the activity • ExG core team to work together with the projects • management teams – a meeting – if needed • PMS – project proposal templates • terminology – Paul, Marinos, Christos, other volunteers • refreshment of the work plan
